Since he controlled the income of these men, he could control the debt that they owed to him, so he kept everyone in debt to him so he was always getting money, which he kept a portion of. The mans name was Johnny Friendly. Within Johnny’s little gang was a rat, an un edgucated man named Terry Maloy. Terry’s brother Charley was Johnny’s right hand man, he did all the paper work and counted the money. Terry was involved in a hit that Johnny put on Joey Doudle. Terry didn’t know they would kill him, he was uneasy about it from the second it happened. Terry fell in love with Joey’s sister, Eede, and ended up confesing for her. Johnny found out Terry was a rat so he killed Charley, that set Terry off and that’s why he confessed and turned Johnny in.
